Change login credentials

You can manage your login details within the My Animal Trust app, including updating your email address and changing your password.

What you can do

• View the email address linked to your account
• Change your login email address
• Update your password

How it works

Change login email

1. Select change next to your email address
2. Enter your new email address
3. Request a verification code
4. Check your new email inbox for the verification code
5. Enter the verification code in the app
6. Confirm the change
7. Use your new email address the next time you log in

Change login password

1. Log in to the My Animal Trust app
2. Open the menu using the button in the top-right corner
3. Select Profile Settings
4. Open the Security tab
5. Select Change Password
6. Enter your current password
7. Enter your new password
8. Confirm the change
9. Use your new email address the next time you log in

When to use this

This feature is useful if you need to update your account details, improve your account security, or regain access using a new email address.

Important notes

• The login email you use will be separate from the communication emails you have stored on Contact Details.
• Verification codes may take a few minutes to arrive. Check your spam or junk folder if you do not receive the verification email.
• After changing your email address, future login and notifications will use the new email
• Passwords should be kept secure and not shared with anyone else
• If you forget your password, use the Forgot Password option on the login screen
• Contact your practice if you are unable to access your account or update your details.
