View and change pet detail

You can view key details about a pet already registered with Animal Trust and update some of their information within the My Animal Trust app.

  • View key details about your pet
  • Edit selected pet information
  • Mark a pet as inactive

⚙️ How it works

  1. Log in to the My Animal Trust app.
  2. From the dashboard, select the icon next to the relevant pet.
  3. View and update the available fields as needed.

🎯 When to use this

Use this feature if your pet’s details have changed, such as their breed, weight, or other registration information. You can also use it if a pet is no longer under your care or has passed away.

❓ FAQs

Why can’t I update my pet’s weight? The weight shown in the app is the most up-to-date weight recorded by Animal Trust. At this time, you cannot manually add or change your pet’s weight within the app.
What happens if I mark a pet as inactive? Marking a pet as inactive will remove them from your dashboard overview, but their medical records will still remain on file with Animal Trust.
Why can’t I make my pet inactive? You cannot make a pet inactive while they have an active Health Plan linked to their account. If you need support with this, please contact the Health Plan Team.
Can I change my pet’s name in the app? No. It is not currently possible to change a pet’s name within the app. If you entered the wrong name, you can make the pet inactive and add them again using the correct details. If the pet already has an active Health Plan, please contact Support for assistance before making any changes.
How should I register a crossbreed pet? Popular crossbreeds, such as Cockapoos, should be registered as Crossbreed when adding your pet in the app.
