Cancelling or rescheduling an appointment

Depending on the appointment type and how soon the appointment is due, you may be able to cancel and reschedule the appointment using the app.

✅ What you can do

  • View upcoming appointment details
  • Cancel an appointment
  • Reschedule an appointment
  • Receive a confirmation email

⚙️ How it works

  1. Log in to the My Animal Trust app.
  2. From the dashboard, scroll down to the Upcoming appointments section.
  3. Find the appointment you want to change.
  4. Select the button to change the appointment.
  5. If rescheduling, you can then search and select a new date. It won't cancel the old appointment until you've confirmed this new one.
  6. If cancelling, you can select to cancel the appointment.
  7. You should receive an email confirming everything.

⚠️ Important: You may not be able to cancel or change an appointment if it is too close to the appointment start time or depending on the appointment type.

🎯 When to use this

Use this feature when you can no longer attend your appointment at the required date, time or location.
