Add a healthplan

You can add a health plan for an eligible pet within the My Animal Trust app.

โœ… What you can do

  • View available health plan options
  • Add a health plan to a pet
  • Set up payment for the plan
  • Choose a future start date
  • Manage ongoing preventive care more easily

โš™๏ธ How it works

  1. Log in to the My Animal Trust app.
  2. Find the pet you want to add a plan to on the dashboard.
  3. Select Add plan.
  4. Review the available plan details and choose the plan you want.
  5. Complete the required information and payment setup.
  6. To delay the start of the plan, select a future start date (up to 30days).
  7. Once added, the plan will show on your dashboard.
  8. If you selected a future start date, the plan will show as Pending until it starts.
  9. You should receive a confirmation email within 24 hours.

This feature is useful when you want to quickly add a suitable plan before you schedule a visit to our practices so you can start getting the benefits straight away.

โ“ FAQs

How long does it take for my Health Plan to become active? When you add a Health Plan to your pet through the app, the setup process is usually completed automatically and should be ready in time for your appointment. If you choose a future start date, your plan will become active on the selected date instead.
Can all pets be added to a Health Plan? No. Not all species are eligible for a Health Plan. Eligibility may vary depending on the type of pet.
Does the Health Plan cover all of my pets? No. Each Health Plan only applies to the individual pet selected during registration. If you would like cover for multiple pets, a separate plan must be set up for each one.
When will my payment be taken if I delay the start date? If you choose a future start date, your payment will be taken closer to the selected start date. For exact payment timings, please refer to your confirmation email or the plan details shown in your dashboard.
