Add a healthplan

You can add a health plan for an eligible pet within the My Animal Trust app.

What you can do

  • View available health plan options
  • Add a health plan to a pet
  • Set up payment for the plan
  • Choose a future start date
  • Manage ongoing preventive care more easily

How it works

  1. Log in to the My Animal Trust app.
  2. Find the pet you want to add a plan to on the dashboard.
  3. Select Add plan.
  4. Review the available plan details and choose the plan you want.
  5. Complete the required information and payment setup.
  6. To delay the start of the plan, select a future start date.
  7. Once added, the plan will show on your dashboard.
  8. If you selected a future start date, the plan will show as Pending until it starts.
  9. You should receive a confirmation email within 24 hours.

When to use this

This feature is useful when you want to quickly add a suitable plan before you schedule a visit to our practices so you can start getting the benefits straight away.

Important notes

  • Not all species are eligible for a health plan.
  • The plan only applies to the selected pet.
  • Make sure your pet’s details are correct before adding a plan.
  • You can only delay the start of a plan by up to 30 days from today’s date.
  • If you delay the start of the plan, payment will be taken closer to the start date.
  • For specific payment timing, check your confirmation email or the plan details shown on your dashboard.
  • If you have not received your confirmation email of payment/direct debit within 24hours please contact the support team this support form.
