View and change pet details

You can view key details about a pet already registered with Animal Trust and update some of their information within the My Animal Trust app.

What you can do

  • View key details about your pet
  • Edit selected pet information
  • Mark a pet as inactive

How it works

  1. Log in to the My Animal Trust app.
  2. From the dashboard, select the pen icon next to the relevant pet.
  3. View and update the available fields as needed.

When to use this

Use this feature if your pet’s details have changed, such as their breed, weight, or other registration information. You can also use it if a pet is no longer under your care or has passed away.

Important notes

  • The most up-to-date weight recorded by Animal Trust will be displayed. You cannot add or change this weight at this time.
  • Marking a pet as inactive keeps their medical record on file but removes them from your dashboard overview.
  • You cannot make a pet inactive if they have an active health plan.
  • It is not possible to change a pet’s name in the app. If you have entered the wrong name, you can make the pet inactive and add them again with the correct details. If the pet already has a health plan, please contact us for support.
  • Popular crossbreeds, such as Cockapoos, should be registered as Crossbreed.
